About Me
My name is Reasha Tenaye, and I am an author, Shift Strategist, and the heart behind Experience The Exhale. I work with women who are navigating one of the most disorienting, under-named transitions of their lives: the Marital Shift—the internal, emotional, and spiritual shift that occurs when marriage no longer looks, feels, or functions the way it once did or the way it was promised. Having experienced a divorce and its aftermath, I know firsthand how life altering it can be. Even more, I know what it's like to battle with feeling worthy. Through the valleys, I have emerged stronger and have a better sense of self and purpose.
To be clear: I am not here to tell women what they should do; I am here to help them breathe, discern, and move with clarity—without shame, pressure, or spiritual bypassing. As she gets to know herself, she will choose her path by choosing her.
My work is faith-rooted, emotionally honest, and deeply human. I believe God is present in the pause, in the questions, and in the becoming, not just in the outcome.
How Experience The Exhale Was Born
Experience The Exhale was born out of lived experience, not theory. It began in a season where holding it together was mandatory but quietly falling apart was reality. I discovered that while there were countless resources for fixing marriages, there was very little space for supporting women as they emotionally and spiritually shifted within them.
Pray harder
Be more patient
Be more submissive
Be more grateful
What they weren’t given was language, permission, or room to breathe. Experience The Exhale was created to be that room, a safe space where women could exhale the expectations, the silence, the guilt, and the confusion long enough to hear themselves again… and hear God clearly.
What We Do
Experience The Exhale supports women through the five phases of the Marital Shift, offering tools, reflection, and community through:
The Marital Shift Workbooks
The Clarity Quiz
Faith-centered challenges like Storms to Stillness
Group experiences, courses, and conversations
Women are guided to:
Name where they are
Understand what’s shifting internally
Respond with wisdom instead of urgency
B.R.E.A.T.H.E.
This is not about rushing decisions. This is about restoring agency, safety, and self-trust.
The Heart of the Work
At its core, Experience The Exhale is built on one belief:
Stillness is not stagnation, but sacred preparation.
I believe women don’t need louder advice; we need clearer space. We don’t need fixing; we need support while becoming.
Experience The Exhale exists to remind women that:
You are not crazy
You are not failing
You are not alone
You ARE enough
And they are allowed to pause before deciding what’s next.
Why This Matters
The Marital Shift doesn’t just affect marriages—it impacts identity, faith, motherhood, purpose, and legacy. When women are supported during the shift, not just after, it changes everything.
This work is about helping women exhale long enough to choose wisely, heal honestly, and move forward whole.
